This year’s Miss Nepal is called Dabur Special Miss Nepal 2010 after the main sponsor of the event. According to the organizer, Hidden Treasure, 24 participants were selected to participate in the Miss Nepal final, selected from a total of 100 applicants. The organizer told that the contestants were selected on the basis of their personality, self confidence, general knowledge and intelligence.

The selected participants are:

Ajita Singh, Anita Acharya, Anjana Shrestha, Asmita Ghimire Barsha Shrestha, Bindu KC, Binita Thapa, Chandini Ansari, Chandini Debaju, Ganga Devi Dangir, Isha Khadki, Jaswani Rajyalaxmi Rana, Kusumanjali KC, Prina Maharjan, Priya Adhikari, Priya Rani Lama, Rakshya Thapa, Sadikchya Shrestha, Sahana Bajracharya, Samridi Rai, Sanyukta Timsina, Sarita Maharjan, Sujata Swar, and Suprya KC.

The organizer will now start to train the selected participants. The training to improve the personality and confidence will last 6 weeks.

The winner of this year’s Miss Nepal will receive a car (Chery QQ3) in addition to other gifts and benefits. The winner will attend Miss World 2010 to be held in China.

The first runner-up will receive a scooter and will go to Philippines to participate in Miss Earth 2010.
