All Nepal Band Competition is going to be organized at various cities of Nepal with a title “SongNepal XclusiveZ Band Clash 2012- A Road to Musical Fame”. It has been anticipated as one of the biggest music competitions in the country covering five major cities in Nepal: Pokhara, Butwal, Narayangarh, Dharan, and Kathmandu.

In the competition, every Band should perform two songs including at least one original song and all Genres are eligible for performance. It includes Metal, Rock, Hardcore / Punk, Pop, Jazz, Blues and Hip-Hop / R’n’B. Grand Finale Battle will be held on 18^th August 2012, at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.

Winner of Band Clash will receive Rs. 1 Lakh Cash Prize, Album Recording, Music Video, Online Promotion of worth Rs 30,000, Media Coverage etc. and 1^st Runner up will recieve Rs. 50,000 Cash Prize, Music Video, Song Recording, Online Promotion of worth Rs 20,000, Media Coverage etc. Collaboration Album of Top 10 Bands will also be recorded.

Band registration has been opened from May 15 to July 15 and registration fee is Rs 5000 per band. Dev Rana (A Legendary Drummer of Nepal), Robin Tamang (Band: Robin & The New Revolution) and Hari Maharjan (Band: Hari Maharjan Project) are in panel of judges.
