Four new Nepali movies are released on Friday August 25, 2017. The movies have tried to benefit from the Teej holidays. After Dashain and Tihar, the third biggest festival in Nepal Teej is also considered one of the best time to release movies in Nepal. The movie by Gobinda Gautam, ‘Scout’, by Praladh Gurung, ‘Desh Khojdai Jaanda’, Bijaya Kerung’s ‘Hami Saranarthi’ and Jayakishan Basnet’s ‘Dhoom 2’ are the new releases this week.
About ‘Scout’
A movie featuring actress Garima Panta with Nawaraj Shrestha features Kusha Thapa, Madhukumar Shretha, Sanjay Shrestha etc. The movie features the music of Basanta Sapkota. The movie also marks the debut of the actress of popular tv serial ‘Bhadragol’ – Rakshya Shrestha. The movie is about the story of the youths who have joined scout and their lives.

About ‘Desh Khojdai Jaanda’
Another new release of Teej is about Bhutani refugee in Nepal. Some of the Bhutani refugees have been relocated to various countries all over the world, but some are still in Nepal. The movie is about the protest of the Bhutani people of Nepali origin in Nepal. Actor and singer Baboo Bogati is featured in the leading role in the movie. Actor Hemanta Budhathoki is also featured in leading role in the movie.
About ‘Hami Saranarthi’
Another movie about refugees is directed by Bijaya Kerung. The movie also features the Bhutani refugees and their problems. The movie features actress Shilpa Pokharel in leading role with Jiwan Bhattarai. The movie shot in various locations in Jhapa and its surrounding areas features Shilpa in an action role.

About ‘Dhoom 2’
A Nepali movie influenced by popular hindi movie ‘Dhoom’ has also released in Nepal this week. The movie features the producer and the director of the movie, Jaya Kishan Basnet in leading role. With Jaya Kishan the movie also features Shovit Basnet and Rohit Rumba. The movie is made on action and comedy story.
