There are 7 requirements of Miss Nepal beauty contest according to the registration form of Miss Nepal 2019.

1) Unmarried Nepali.
2) No babies.
3) Age between 19-25 years (as of the end of the year)
4) 10+2 education.
5) Height 5 ft 4 inches (164.6 cms)
6) Attractive, healthy and morally good.
7) No tattoo.

The winners go to Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Supranational.

From India, Femina Miss India go to Miss World. Miss Diva go to Miss Universe and Miss Supranational and Glamanand Supermodel India go to Miss Earth and Miss International.

Femina Miss India requirements (link):

1) Single, Unmarried and Not Engaged, Indian
3) 18-25 of age (25 as of 31st December 2019)
5) Height (5’5″ and above)

According to the requirement, 26 & 27 years old also apply to compete for the Runnerup positions. That is because, the eligibility for Miss World is 18-25 of age (25 as of 31st December 2019).

I couldn’t however verify Miss India’s claim of 25-years age requirement for Miss World entry.

I checked Miss Wales beauty contest requirements (link)

– Must be at least 16 years and six months old – and no more than 26 years old (by the time of the Miss World entry datel that year. This is usually November).

Gabriella Jukes was crowned Miss Wales 2019 and is all set to represent Wales to Miss World (She is featured in Miss World website)

Another partner of Miss World is Miss England beauty contest. A Nepali, Pratishtha Raut is one of the semi-finalist of the contest. I have prepared a report on Pratishtha too. The entry requirement for the contest is also 16-26 on the year of entry.

It also has the requirement of being 16 years and six month (sixteen and a half) years of age on the date of the state pageant and no more than 26 (twenty-six) years of age on December 1, 2019.

According to these international competitions (except for Miss India requirements): Miss Nepal’s following entry requirements are simply unnecessary or overstated:

Age can be 16 and half to 26 at the time Miss World competition is held. There is no education requirements, no tattoo requirements, no moral or attractiveness requirements.
