Silsila got it’s turn in Kathmandu after 3 years

A movie released out of Kathmandu some three years ago has finally got it’s turn to be screened in Kathmandu.

Last time I was surprised to see the movie,Chodi Gaya Paap Lagla taking  2 years to reach Kathmandu theaters. Silsila broke the record!

You can watch Silsila by clicking here.

The movie isn’t that bad to be neglected.  At that time, it was screened for more than 51 days in most of the theaters it was shown. So was Chodi Gaya Paap Lagla, that won 7 National awards.

The movie Silsila has good songs and was popular for its liberal kiss scenes. The kiss scene between the actor Raj Timilsina and Sonia KC feature lips sucking, not common in Nepali movies.

I don’t have anything against the movies that get theaters to release right-after they have finished the movie. But, I can’t understand why don’t the viewers in Kathmandu get to see the good movies sooner.

Is that the viewers in Kathmandu don’t appreciate good movies?

Silsila features Biraj Bhatt, Rekha Thapa, Raj Timilsina, Soniya KC, Sushil Pokharel, Mithila Sharma in leading role and is directed by Rajendra Upreti.
