Tele Award 2067, Tito Satya got most awards

In-spite of the controversies, TAFON-Media Hub Tele Awards 2067, was held successfully in Kathmandu on May 17, 2010. In the Award ceremony, comedy serial, Tito Satya, won the most number of awards (seven out of 14 awards). Deepak Raj Giri of the serial bagged 3 awards for story, script, and direction categories. The serial Tito Satya was also awarded the best comedy serial. Deepashree Niraula got the best actress, Raj Acharya got the best child actor, and cameraman Bashanta Rupakheti bagged the best cameraman awards.

Shivahari Poudel of Jire Khursani got the best actor award and Jitu Nepal of the same serial got the best dialogue award.

Ma Timi Bina Marihalchu best in the KTV Film Award 2066

NEFTA KTV Film Award 2066 took place at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza on December 16, 2009. ‘Ma Timi Bina Marihalchu’Â, a film by Bhuwan KC, won the award for Best Film. Bhuwan KC himself won Best Actor award for the same movie and the actress of the movie, Jharana Thapa, also won the Best Actress award. The movie bagged a total of nine awards including best singer, dress design, fight direction, script and editing.

Kishor Rana got the Best Director award for his movie ‘Mr. Mangale’. Mr. Mangale became the second best movie with six awards including best dialogue, best character actor, best comedy actor, child actor, and best background music. Movies ‘Silsila’ and ‘Sandesh’ bagged three awards each.

Rajesh Hamal was awarded the Mahanayak, based on his overall acting career. Similarly, Dr. Bhola Rijal was awarded with the Life-time Achievement Award.
