The movie produced by actress Reecha Sharma with the director Arpan Thapa was the first film by the actress as a producer. Released in 2017, the movie didn’t do well in theatre but reviewers liked it.
Richa and Arpan had teamed up to produce another movie ‘Sunkeshari’. But, that too didn’t do well. These days, they seem to have parted their ways as Arpan is working in ‘Ghar’ another horror movie without Richa in the team.

Although the movie was accused of being a copy of a South Indian movie, it was told to be based on a true story. The movie by Ganesh Dev Panday, had also faced some hurdle in the censor board. Because of the issue, the release of the movie was delayed by a month from March end to the star of May. The film makers had also accused a journalist of blackmailing for advertisement. The music and the songs by Kali Prasad Baskota had been very popular among audience.
Nepali movie ‘Bhagya Rekha’ is a superhit love story drama with very funny comedy. The film, produced by Jyoti Rayamajhi and Kamala Upadhaya is made under the banner Surya Binayak Films.
