A presentation of Bhim Lama, Nepali movie ‘Mato’ is made under Mata Pathibhara Films banner. The movie is written by the director Kishor Subba. Producer is Mina Lama. The music composer is Dinesh Subba, choreographer is Gobinda Rai, cinematographer is Saurav Lama, editor is Shiva Puri, background score by Binod Gurung and action by Ram / Janak. The playback singers are Rajesh Payal Rai, Dipak Limbu, Dinesh Subbah, Anjana Gurung, and Manu Nembang. The songs are written by Dayaram Pandy, Santa Gautam, and Mitra Lingdan.
Maato Controversy – In the beginning, actor Nikhil Upreti had agreed to do the movie. But, in 2009, when Nikhil Upreti eloped with Sanchita Luitel and didn’t show up in the shooting, the film makers had to convince Rajesh Hamal to do Nikhil’s role (read my 2010 report). Rejina Upreti is featured in an action role in the movie (see MoviesNepal report). I don’t have the exact release date of the movie but, the shooting was going on in June of 2010.
Rajesh Hamal was chosen to be the artist of January, 2017. In the Twitter poll I posted in my account, Rajesh Hamal received 55% votes. The second place went to Rekha Thapa with just 19% votes. The third place winner Karishma Manandhar got 15% and the last was Anmol KC with 11% votes.
I will be preparing videos on the artist of the month – at least one video every week. That is the minimum limit but, there is no upper limit. So, I can make as much video on Rajesh Hamal as I want in January. By the end of the month I will start another poll to chose the artist of the next month.
I started creating videos on Rajesh Hamal today. The first video was about the Rajesh Hamal look alike “Fake and Real Rajesh Hamal” (video attached).
