Produced under Princess Movies and Black Horse Pictures Production, and A Popcorn Pictures banner, ‘Loot 2’ is directed by Nischal Basnet, the director of the original movie. In addition to Saugat Malla, Karma, Dayahang Rai, Reecha Sharma the movie also features Bipin Karki, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Srijana Subba, Sushil Raj Pandey, Rratik Raj Neupaney, Sushil Uprety and Alisha Rai.

The movie featuring Karma, Bhintuna Joshi and Khusbu Khadka in leading role is expected to do do well in single screen theatre. This Friday, on August 28, two of the most awaited movies are releasing in theater. Actor Nikhil Upreti‘s comeback movie ‘Bhairav’ and the movie of the viral song, ‘Resham Filili’. These two movies are targeted to two different types of audience – one for action movie lovers and other for comedy movie lovers.
Nikhil Upreti’s movie ‘Bhairav’ went through a lengthy process of Censor Board and was finally granted a PG certificate two days before the release. The Board had questioned the political aspect of the movie. The movie is also the debut of Nikhil as a director.
This week’s release is interesting – a clash between the highly expected comedy movie ‘Resham Filili’ and award winner movie ‘Jhola’. The movie ‘Jhola’ was previously released, before it won Best Actress Award in SAARC Film Festival.
The movie ‘Resham Filili’ won the hearts of many by its music and catchy tune. Everybody’s favorite ‘Jalama…’ has become an instant hit and various cover versions of the song were made and shared in YouTube. For the first time in the history of Nepali movie ‘Resham Filili’ has made more than 50 percent advance booking in the multiplex theaters in Kathamndu.

Two new Nepali movies are released on this Friday, February 13, 2015. The movies released to take advantage of the Valentine Day crowd on Feb 14, ‘One Way’ and ‘Suntali’ both are the awaited movies. Nepali movie ‘Suntali’ was premiered in Kathmandu a day before the official release date, February 13, 2015. The comedy movie directed by Bhaskar Dhungel was premiered in Kumari theater in Kathmandu. Bhaskar is also one of the investors of QFX multiplex. Digital Cinema Nepal (DCN) has also invested in the film.
‘Suntali’ features Priyanka Karki, Arpan Thapa, Suryamala Khanal and Karma in leading roles. The director and producer Bhaskar Dhungana is known more as a producer than a director. The movie ‘Patachara’ is a movie based in a folk story based on Buddhist jataka stories. This is a story of the only daughter of a merchant, Dandas, living in Shrawasti. Being rich, Dandas could afford every luxury hid daughter desires. Although Dandas did everything to fulfill every desire of his daughter, she fells in love with Hisilani, a poor servant.
For the first time in his acting career the top actor of Nepali movie industry, Rajesh Hamal, has done a theater play. The play titled ‘Court Martial’ has started in Theater Village on Friday, November 22. The first show was done only for the press and will be open for the general public starting Saturday.
The play featuring Rajesh Hamal, Dayahang Rai, Deeya Maskey, BS Rana, Karma, Subash Thapa and others is directed by Anup Baral. The play is written by an Indian writer, Swadesh Deepak, has been played for more than 4,000 times in four South Asian countries.
