One of the most awaited movie of the year, ‘Chhakka Panja 2’ has released the first trailer. The trailer was released as per the schedule recommended by an astrologer. The astrologer, Bushesh Thapa, had told the producers to release the trailer at 6:05 and 2 seconds for the best response.

The movie made on comedy theme is the fourth movie after the hat trick in successful comedy movies by the comedy duo- Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula. The movie scheduled to release on the Fulpati of Dashain (Ashoj 11) features a lot of well known actors in it. The movie team had released two songs in the past – both of which were very successful in terms of viewership. They had also gone through bitter controversies.

About ‘Chhakka Panja 2’

The movie features Deepak Raj Giri, Priyanka Karki, Kedar Ghimire, Jitu Nepal, Shiva Hari Poudel, Buddhi Tamang, Barsha Raut, Sworoop Purush Dhakal, Swastima Khadka, Gaurav Pahadi and others. Although the movie name is the sequel of the super-hit movie ‘Chhakka Panja’, the story is told to be different from the previous one.

Actress Deepa Shree Niraula debuted as a director in the earlier movie and the sequel is her second attempt as a director. After the success of the movie, she has become one of the most successful female directors in the Nepali film industry. Apart from being successful as a director, the movie also made a number of records in the film industry.

In ‘Chhakka Panja 2’ one of the producers of the earlier movie Nirmal Sharma left the team and a new addition to the production team is Bikash Acharya. Acharya is known for producing successful sequels of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’.

After the success of film projects like ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ and ‘Woda Number 6’ the makers of popular tv serial ‘Tito Satya’ had decided to stop telefilm production and focus fully in film production.

After watching the trailer is is clear that the comedy aspect of the movie is going to be good. Watching the movie will be entertaining. But, there are too many star cast and there is no clue about what the story might be. There are a few itching questions the trailer gives – how could Deepak Raj become a police officer, or what does Swastima want to go to a foreign country. Role of Priyanka Karki is also a suspense to look for.
