Khagendra Thapa Magar is going to turn 18 on Thursday, October 14, 2010. A team of representative of The Guinness World Record has already arrived in Pokhara to hand over the certificate of the shortest person in the world.

Khagendra went through a health checkup at Fewacity Hospital. Doctor Hum Prasad Neupane will measure the height, weight, length of hand and feet and other parts of his body is being done in preparation for the ceremony. Dr. Neupane has been doing the health checkup of Khandra for the last five years, for free.

The registration number of 154894 is already assigned for Khagendra by the Guinness officials. Khagendra was born on 2049 Ashoj 28, Nepali date in Baglung, Ulleri as a child of Rup Bahadur (father) and Dhanmaya Thapa (mother). Khagendra is 57 cm tall and is only 6 kg in weight.
