Although 4 different people of the Nepali film industry got married today on May 7, 2019 it was only two marriages. Two directors married today. One director married the actress of one of his films, ‘Aishwarya’ and another director married the producer of her directorial debut film ‘Intu Mintu Londonma’.

It was not a surprise event because it was a well known fact that they were seeing each other for some time. The relationship between the choreographer Renasha Bantawa Rai and the producer Prajwal SJB Rai had been a decade old. They had been working together in movies for a long time. Renasha is a well known choreographer and she is doing second movie as a director too. The success of Intu Mintu Londonma has helped Nepali film industry find another hit director.

The relationship between Diwakar Bhattarai and his actress in ‘Aishwarya’, Deepika Prasain flourished during the shooting of the movie. They went to court and got married even before the film was complete. They got engaged in an official ceremony a while ago. Diwakar Bhattarai is one of the most successful directors of the film industry. After the success of ‘Jatra’, ‘Aishwarya’ and ‘Captain’ he is one of the most sought after directors of the Nepali film industry. Deepika is also considered an actress with potential.

As all the four are known to be successful person in their field, it seems, these two couple will rule the film industry in the coming days. The only other successful couple in the film industry that I can recall is Swastima Khadka and Nischal Basnet.
