‘Manav’ marks as the comeback of Saroj Khanal after an absence of 14 years in Nepali film industry. Living in the USA, the movie was shot in 2011 when he was in Nepal in a vacation. A year later, Saroj had come to Nepal to promote the movie during its release in February of 2013. The movie is produced by Kumar Acharya and is written by Nischal Shrestha.
