A number of Bollywood celebrities have expressed their concern towards the devastating earthquake in Nepal. Here are the sayings of of the celebrities from our neighboring country:
Right after the earthquake, Bollywood megha-star Amitabh Bachchan told that he was saddened by the disaster. He wrote in Twitter, "Seeing devastating pictures and news of the earthquake in Nepal ! Prayers that all is well and all are safe." He later added:

The organization of movie theaters had decided to open the theaters this Friday. They had claimed that they had performed the required engineering aspects of the theaters before making the decision. But, the government had objected their decision and started performing their own damage assessment. On May 8, we were informed that Cine de Chef was the only theater damaged by earthquake. But, the government damage assessment team has found more theaters unsuitable for occupancy.
According to a report in Onlinekhabr, the government engineering team has declared 3 theaters under Guna Cinemas too risky to operate by posting red stickers on the theaters.
Actor Suman Singh has spent about Rs. 500,000 to purchase earthquake relief materials to distribute in Nuwakot. He went to Nuwakot with blanket, tents, water, salt and medical checkup team to help the earthquake victims in the area.
Choreographer Dinesh Adhikari and Suman’s family had reached Kharanitar VDC of Nuwakot to distribute the earthquake relief materials. On his choice of the place to distribute the materials, Suman Singh told that not relief materials hadn’t reached the place before. In two wards of the village some 300 villagers had benefitted by the generosity of the actor.
