Actress Ashma DC has signed in to to be featured opposite to Avash Adhikari in Rekha Films’ upcoming movie ‘Rampyari’. Actress Rekha Thapa‘s nephew Avash Adhikari is going to debut in the movie. Rekha Thapa is going to be featured as an auto-rickshaw driver in the movie. The actor to be featured opposite to Rekha is yet to be confirmed.

The social drama movie is scheduled to go to floor on Ashoj 21. There is a possibility of delay in the shooting because of the unrest in Terai region. Although the shooting hasn’t started yet, the release date is fixed for the year end of the Nepali calendar.

Rekha is going to Dubai, UAE to participate in a couple of Teej programs starting September 4. Rekha had returned back from the USA for the preparation of the shooting of the movie.

Who is Ashma DC?

Ashma DC started as a television RJ in Gopi Krishna Raidio Filmy and a VJ in TV Filmy in early 2010s. She debuted in ‘Aavash’. Ashma’s acting skills have been appreciated after the release of the movie in January 2015. After that, she has also acted in ‘Nai Nabhannu La 3’. It’s a coincidence that Ashma is playing opposite to the actor named same as her debut movie, ‘Aavash’.

Ashma and actor Samyam Puri are seeing each other. Although there were rumors of separation, both Samyam and Ashma insist that they are together and are headed to a long-term relationship.

Ashma has completed Bachelor in Journalism and Social Science. She has recently celebrated her birthday (on August 20).
