Nepali movie ‘Rampyari’ is a presentation of Rekha Films by Rekha Thapa. The movie features the choreography of Ramji Lamichhane, background score by Dinesh Sunam, action by Roshan Shrestha, editing by Arjun GC, cinematography by Shiva Dhakal, script by Jagadishowr Thapa, Producer of the movie is named Saraswoti Thapa (Rekha’s mother). While the mother is named the producer, Rekha has dedicated the movie to her father, Prem Kumar Thapa.

Although the reviews of Rekha Thapa‘s new release ‘Ram Pyari’ is nothing to be excited about, her star power is clearly seen in the theater. When Rekha visited the theaters to meet the viewers, the viewers were happy and excited to she her. Some viewers were so excited that they carried her and threw her in the air (see the following video for a small clip).

The initial review of the movie is not that good. One of the viewers told, “Apart from Rekha Thapa, there is nothing to watch it the movie.” He said, the movie is similar to her previous movies. Although the action is good, the story and the story telling style is same as her previous movies.

The fourth sequel of the highly successful franchise, ‘Nai Nabahnnu La 4’ is directed by Bikash Acharya and features Pal Shah, Barsha Raut, Aanchal Sharma, Priyanka Karki and others. Like the previous sequels, the love story movie is expected to make the viewers cry.
The songs of the upcoming movie of actress Rekha Thapa under her banner Rekha Films, ‘Rampyari’ is attached for your entertainment. The audio jukebox has three songs from the movie. The movie is scheduled to release on the last Friday of the year 2072 BS – on Chaitra 27 (April 8, 2016). Rekha’s ex-husband’s movie ‘Kismat 2’ is also expected to release on the same date.
The movie ‘Rampyari’ features Rekha in the role of a three-wheeler driver and is based on a real person. The movie directed by Shabir Shrestha features Sabin Shrestha opposite to Rekha Thapa and also introduces Rekha’s nephew Aavash Adhikari opposite to actress Ashma DC.

Rekha’s movie ‘Rampyari’ is inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Bishowkarma Puja. According to Hindu belief, Bishowkarma is the god of tools. On every Shrawan 1st god Bishowkarma is worshiped and the tools like vehicle, computer, camera etc. are worshiped for them to work properly. Why not Kishor Khatiwada?
Rekha Thapa has chosen actor Sabin Shrestha to be featured opposite to her in her upcoming movie ‘Rampyari’. Although she took a long time to choose the actor in the role, the relationship between the two is still good. Rekha is known to drift away from the actor who debut in her movies. Rekha Thapa had introduced in Sabin Shrestha in ‘Andaaz’ (watch ‘Andaaz’ here) in 2011.
Rekha’s nephew Avash Adhikari was chosen for a main role in March and his opposite in the movie is going to be Ashma DC according to a report published on the first week of September. After signing the agreement with Sabin, the movie is going to floor on Ashoj 1 (September 18). After a lengthy stay in the USA, Rekha had returned back to Nepal on July 27 to start the shooting of the movie.

Actress Ashma DC has signed in to to be featured opposite to Avash Adhikari in Rekha Films’ upcoming movie ‘Rampyari’. Actress Rekha Thapa‘s nephew Avash Adhikari is going to debut in the movie. Rekha Thapa is going to be featured as an auto-rickshaw driver in the movie. The actor to be featured opposite to Rekha is yet to be confirmed.
The social drama movie is scheduled to go to floor on Ashoj 21. There is a possibility of delay in the shooting because of the unrest in Terai region. Although the shooting hasn’t started yet, the release date is fixed for the year end of the Nepali calendar.
Nepali movie industry is a very strange type of industry. In our film industry, most of the business logics fail economic has the least effect on film making. Because of the lack of professionalism in the industry, personal ego and social status are considered more important than the economic viability of the movie. The announcement of 6 movies on the same day, at the end of the year, can considered one of such examples.
On the last Friday of the year 2072 BS, on Chaitra 26 (April 8, 2016), six different movie makers have announced the release date of their movies. It is interesting that five out of the six movies are yet to go to the floor yet. The movies are:
Out of these movies, only the movie ‘Lootera’ has completed its shooting. The movie featuring Nikhil Upreti was previously announced to be released in Tihar but now the release date has been delayed by 5 months. The crew and artists of some of the movies are yet to be determined.
In a recent report, actress Rekha Thapa has ‘cut short’ her US travel to return back to Nepal on July 27. Rekha is returning back to start the shooting of her upcoming movie ‘Rampyari’.
In response to the cancelation of her scheduled visit to Malaysia, Rekha has told that she will not participate in any program organized to help earthquake victims. She also told that she has also canceled the Dubai program for the same reason.
Rekha has told that she had gone to the USA for fund raising for her foundation, Rekah Thapa Foundation. She has said that some organizations had invited her for fund raising programs in the USA. But, her statement is very suspicious as there were no news of any fund raising programs involving Rekha Thapa. Because of the secrecy and the controversial statements before going to the USA, a question was raised if Rekha will return back from the USA.
Actress Rekha Thapa has been living in the USA for the last couple of months. There is no words on what she is doing or what her plans are. Her past statements indicate that she is planning to leave Nepal and live permanently in the USA.
In a latest report, Rekha has composed a song of her upcoming movie ‘Rampyari’ and has directed singer Rajesh Payal Rai from the USA. The recording of the song titled ‘Arko June Kunni Bhet Huni Ki Nahune â€¦’ was recorded on the voice of Rai on July 7 in Musician Studio, Kathmandu.
The song recording of Rekha Thapa‘s next movie ‘Rampyari’ has started in Kathmandu. Rekha’s home production movie ‘Rampyari’ is going to be made on the story of a auto rickshaw driver woman of Chitwan. Rekha had recently visited Chitwan to meet the real person on whom the movie is going to be made. She had also driven the auto rickshaw the real Rampyari drives (read more in nepaliactress).
In ‘Rampyari’ Rekha is introducing her nephew, Avash Adhikari, as the leading actor. Actress Ashma DC is told to be featured opposite to Avash. In the start, Rekha had announced that she would be directing the movie. But, later she decided to delegate the responsibility of direction to Shabir Shrestha.
Rekha Films is known to introduce new actors in Nepali film industry and actress Rekha Thapa has continued the practice. In her upcoming movie, Rekha is planning to introduce a new face, Avash Adhikari. Avash is the son of Rekha’s elder sister.
In preparation for his role in the movie, Avash is taking dance and acting training. Actor Sunil Pokharel is teaching acting to 22-years-old Avash. With Avash actress Ashma DC will also be featured in ‘Rampyari’. In reports, Avash had lived in his maternal home and was a good friend of Rekha since his childhood.
