Hamesha premiered in a jail, releasing on 12 April with Notebook

Movies are usually premiered in theaters and hotels but, this time, a movie is premiered in a most unusual place, a jail. Rekha Thapa‘s upcoming movie, ‘Hamesha’ was premiered among 600 convicted criminals in the jail in Dillibazar. Nepali Congress leader Khum Bahadur Khadka who is serving his jail terms was also among the viewers.

‘Hamesha’ is made jointly by the home production of Rekha Thapa Rekha Films and the first movie of her ex-husband’s Chhabi Raj Films. The producers have told that the viewers liked the movie, specially the clash between the police officers and convicted person. The movie features Sabin Shrestha opposite to Rekha. The director of the movie is Shabir Shrestha.

Rekha Thapa had promised the premier show at the time she met with the corruption convicted politician Khum Bahadur in the jail. Rekha’s meeting with a corruption convicted politician in the jail was was criticized.

With ‘Hamesha’ another news movie by director Yogesh Ghimire, ‘Notebook’ is releasing all over Nepal. ‘Notebook’ features Jiwan Luitel and Neeta Dhungana in leading roles.
