Nepathya’s Wembley Arena Performance – a historical event

In a historical event, one of the most popular bands in Nepal, Nepathya, performed in UK’s Wembley Arena on August 3, 2013. Nepathya’s Wembley Arena performance was considered the largest ever Nepali musical performance so far.

Nepathya is best known for its blending of folk melodies into new, youth-friendly pop and rock tunes. Nepathya was formed in 1990 by Deepak Rana, Bhim Pun and Amrit Gurung, in Pokhara, Nepal. Nepathya was formed in 1990 by Deepak Rana, Bhim Pun and Amrit Gurung, in Pokhara.

The musical event in London was jointly organized by Subsonic routes and Parcha Production. Before heading to the UK, the band had previously performed in various other countries like Israel, India, Hong Kong and Australia. Last year’s three week long Australia tour was one of the most successful tours Nepathya had in foreign soil.
