The movie proved to be a relief at the time when the Nepali movie industry was going in a downward spirals. Actress and model Sushma Karki’s item dance ‘Undreko choli …’ established the actress as the hot actress in Nepali film industry. Most of the actors, new in the movie, are now well established actors in the industry and the movie represents a new start and the confidence of the Nepali film industry. Although 4 new Nepali movies were released on the day ‘Loot’ was released, the movie managed to become the top grossing movie of the year.
