Now, she has decided to conduct the work in a more organized way, by registering a non-government organization named Himani Trust. The Trust is going to be inaugurated today (October 8, 2010) in Soltae Crown Plaza hotel in Kathmandu.
In a letter written to the press, signed by Pawana Shah, Himani is termed ‘Princess Himani Rajya Laxmi Shah’ and Gyanendra is still termed ‘King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah’. The patron of the organization is ‘Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Shah’. It can also be seen that the executive body of Himani Trust doesn’t have any male member.
Increased activities of the royal family is being frowned upon by many in recent time. It can be seen that, the attempt to label King and Queen would only fuel such anti-royal sentiments.
