BesLike previous years the Nepali film awards by the association of Nepali film technicians, NEFTA, was held in foreign soil. This year’s award ceremony was held in Qatar. In the ceremony held among 8,000 audience award on various categories were handed over to the winners. Winning 5 different awards, ‘Talakjung Vs. Tulke’ became the best movie this year.

Earlier, on their way to the award ceremony, the Nepali artists had faced problem in the airport. According to report, director Narayan Puri‘s name was wrong in the ticket and the date of birth of Uddav Poudel was wrong. Other artists were asked to show $1,500 to get the clearance. Apart from the glitch at the airport, the award ceremony went on smoothly and there weren’t any management complaints on the award.
