About ‘Bhairav’
The comeback movie of Nikhil Upreti after 5 years of absence from the Nepali film industry, ‘Bhairav’ is also his directorial debut movie. Initially Rekha Thapa had agreed to do the movie but later she didn’t. The movie was released in August of 2015.

The dialogue of Bhairav was found to be copied from a south Indian movie trailer. The movie is produced by Johaan Daruwalla, the story, screenplay and dialogue are also written by the director Nikhil Upreti, action is directed by Himal KC, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, music by Suresh Adhikari, animation by Anupam Shah, cinematography by Nawaraj Krishna Thapa and editing by Banish Shah.

The movie features the director Nikhil Upreti in action role. The role of Nikhil had been appreciated by the viewers and his re-entry in the industry was approved by the viewers after the release of ‘Bhairav’. After ‘Bhairav’ his next release ‘Lootera’ was also liked by the viewers.
The actress Anu Shah had issues with Nikhil at the time of the release of the movie. She was kept in shadow and it is believed that the success of the movie didn’t help Anu in her career.
