The director of ‘Loot’ and ‘Talakjung VS Tulke’ and the actor of movies like ‘Kabaddi’, Nischal Basnet, and the actress of hit movie ‘Hostel Returns’, Swastima Khadka, have got engaged in an event held in Kathmandu on December 14, 2015. The marriage between the two is scheduled to be held on February 17, 2016 (Falgun 5).

The rumor of the affair between Nischal and Swastima had been going on in the Nepali film sector for a while. I had also written about the possibility of their marriage three months ago.

Nischal debuted in the super hit movie ‘Loot’ as a director and has produced, directed and acted in a number of successful movies so far. Nischal is a gradute from Oscar International College of Film Stuties. Swastima’s debut movie as an actress ‘Hostel Returns’ has also been well received. The the news of the possibility of Swastima’s marriage with Basnet was released a week after the release of her debut movie on August 21.

20-years-old Swastima has complete the intermediate in architecture and was also top 5 contestants in Miss Teen 2013. Nischal is 14 years older to his future wife.
