A new movie titled ‘Sanrakshan’ is going to feature actors Nikhil Upreti and Saugat Malla as police officers. The movie also features Ashishma Nakarmi and Malina Joshi in leading roles. The movie is being directed by Punendra Kumar Jha. Pradeep Uday, Narendra Maharjan, Sweta Shah and Nandu Shreevastav have invested in the movie.

The movie features the cinematography of Purushottam Pradhan, editing of Nimesh Shrestha, action of Himal KC, choreography of Basanta Sapkota and the music of Prabesh Mallik. Other main actors in the movie are Ramesh Ranjan Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Sushanta Shrestha, Nandu Shreevastav and Pawan Mhato.

The movie is being made on the story on power, press, police, politics and the public. The director Jha had told that he had worked for more than three years on the script.  One of the producers said that the story movie might be similar to the life of the noted police officer, Ramesh Kharel.

Nikhil had also been featured as a police officer in ‘Bhairav’. The similarity between Nikhil’s comeback movie and ‘Sanrakshan’ doesn’t end there. The movie will also be released on the same date, one year after the release of ‘Bhairav’ – Bhadra, 2073.s

As the shooting is to be done in Terai region, the shooting of the movie has been delayed because of the problems in the region.
