The Nepali movie produced by South Indian producers and technicians, ‘Bigmati’ has released in theater on Friday, January 8, 2016. The movie released in 80 theaters all over country is considered the most costly movie in the history of Nepali movies. The movie featuring the top actors in Nepali film industry is directed by Sunny Kerala. The movie made under the banner Tree Entertainment, is produced by Dinesh Darshandhari and Bijaya Satyal.
‘Bagmati’ featured Rajesh Hamal, Shiva Shrestha, Keki Adhikari, Rabikar Ghimire, Shreya Karki, Kanchan Thakuri etc. All the technical works of the movie was done in India and the most of the background crews of the movie were also South Indian.
A new movie titled ‘Sanrakshan’ is going to feature actors Nikhil Upreti and Saugat Malla as police officers. The movie also features Ashishma Nakarmi and Malina Joshi in leading roles. The movie is being directed by Punendra Kumar Jha. Pradeep Uday, Narendra Maharjan, Sweta Shah and Nandu Shreevastav have invested in the movie.
The movie features the cinematography of Purushottam Pradhan, editing of Nimesh Shrestha, action of Himal KC, choreography of Basanta Sapkota and the music of Prabesh Mallik. Other main actors in the movie are Ramesh Ranjan Jha, Pramod Agrahari, Sushanta Shrestha, Nandu Shreevastav and Pawan Mhato.

The movie ‘Kundali’ is dubbed from Bhojpuri movie ‘Danda Bhumi’. The movie features cinematography of Dhruv Tyagi, story of Akhilesh Bedardi, lyrics by Arshad Ali Warsi, music by Uttam Singh / Shankar Adhikari, and choreography by Raunak Raut.
The movie theater chain QFX is opening it’s theater in the fifth location – at Pulchowk. The theater is located at Lalitpur Labim Mall at Pulchowk, Lalitpur. The theater will feature the latest technology in movie theater. According to the distribution chief, Basanta Manandhar, coffee chain, Java, has also invested in the theater.
