The top comedians of television – Deepak Raj Giri, Jitu Nepal, Sitaram Kattel, Kedar Ghimire, Shiva Hari Poudel – each have the potential to make an extremely funny movie. But, the movie featuring all of them in leading role – ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ – doesn’t have anything that impressive in terms of story.
Released on January 10, 2014 the movie ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ is produced jointly by comedy serial ‘Tito Satya’ team comprising of Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula and Nirmal Sharma (Gaida). The movie directed by Dinesh DC features the top comedy actors of most popular comedy serials ‘Tito Satya’, ‘Jire Khursani’, and ‘Meri Bassai’. The sole actress in the movie is Neeta Dhungana.

The 2007 movie ‘Daud’ is the presentation of Raj Basnet for Indrini Films and produced by Rabindara Thapa. Special thanks to Madan Krishan Shrestha, Hari Bansha Acharya, Narandra Kansakar and others.
A movie written and being produced by Deepak Raj Giri, ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ will feature him as the lead actor but, his opposite won’t be Deepa Shree Niraula. With the popularity of the husband-wife character in ‘Tito Satya’ one can’t think of one without the other. Many believe that they are husband and wife in real life. In reality Deepa is still unmarried and Deepak is happily married with grownup kids.
It seems, Deepak wants to give a break to the image and work with other actresses. The story Deepak wrote for the movie doesn’t have a character that fits Deepa. So, she won’t be seen in the movie at all. Although Deepa isn’t happy about it, Deepak has patched it up by offering the assistant director role to Deepa.

The actors in the comedy program, Sitaram Kattel, Kunjana Ghimire and Kedar Ghimire are well known comedian of the popular comedy serial ‘Meri Bassai’. The serial being shown in Nepal Television has been running every week for the last half-decade.
