The current election is considered to be one of the most important step towards the future of Nepal as a country. For that reason, most of the artists of the Nepali film industry have been actively participating in the election awareness. Most of them have joined one of the many political parties and those who haven’t joined any party are also actively participating in the awareness of people about their voting rights.himgyap tasi voting station in boudha

Nepali superstar is going to vote in the constituency no. 6 in Kathamndu. He is not affiliated to any party and he is also asking everybody to vote in the election.

Actress Karishma Manandhar is voting at Kathmandu constituency no. 3. Karishma is also one of the few artists who is not a member of any political party. She has also been asking every Nepali to vote the truthful and capable person in the election.

Malvika Subba, Happy Birthday

July 19 is the birthday of ex-Miss Nepal and journalist Malvika Subba. To celebrate her birthday Malvika went to Safaltha HIV Sikshya Sadan, the first of its kind in Nepal. She met the kids in the institute and celebrated her birthday.

Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012 is Parina Subba

In an event held in Hong Kong, Parina Subba was selected the Miss Hong Kong Nepal 2012 on December 23, 2012. The beauty contest organized by Miss Hong Kong Nepal society, Honk Kong, was held in You Ma Tei Community Center, in Hong Kong.

Another Nepali beauty in Hong Kong, Manisha Rai, was awarded the first runner-up title and Pramila Thapa was awarded the second runner-up title in the event. After winning the title, Parina was
awarded with the Miss Hong Kong Nepal crown and HK$ 10,000 cash prize. The first runner-up Manisha Rai received HK$ 5,000 cash prize and the second runner up Pramila Thapa received HK$ 3,000 check after winning the title.

MLTR to go live in Nepal 2011 in Tundikhel on Nov. 19

On Saturday, November 19, popular band Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) is scheduled to go live in Nepal 2011 Concert in Tudikhel, Kathmandu.

Three of the band members Jascha Richter (vocalist and keyboardist), Kare Wanscher (drummer) and Mikkel Lentz (guitarist) were escorted to Hotel Radisson in the Nepali vehicle Mustang.

Jascha Richter told, "I love Nepal. We are really excited, and have been waiting for twenty years to perform in Nepal. Now, the dream has come true."

MLTR concert starts at 6pm and last for two hours. A number of performances by Nepali artists including Mt 884, Sabin Rai, and Sunil Bardewa will also perform in the occasion.
