One of the most awaited movie of Rekha Thapa and Aryan Sigdel was released on Tihar this year. But, the movie couldn’t perform as expected. The move was released in October of 2017. This movie is released online to welcome the new year 2018.

When Rekha Thapa’s ex-husband Chhabi Raj Ojha went to Rekha’s upcoming movie ‘Rudra Priya’ premier with his to-be-wife Shilpa Pokharel, Shilpa and Rekha met and hugged each other. Chhabi and Shilpa went together but refused to be photographed together in the program.
The premier show of Rekha’s movie was held on October 16. The Rekha Thapa and Aryan Sigdel starrer movie is releasing on this Friday. In the premier Chhabi didn’t go to the stage but Shilpa went to the stage to meet Rekha Thapa. Rekha received Shilpa with a smile and hugged her. The scene was interesting as Rekha was an ex-wife of Chhabi and Shilpa is going to be wife in near future.
It was the first time these two actresses have met each other in a public function. Although journalists had requested Chhabi Raj Ojha to go to the stage and pose for the photograph with his ex and future wives, he refused.
Shilpa had entered Chhabi Ojha’s camp after Rekha had divorced after a decade long marriage and started her own production business.
‘Rudrapriya’ is releasing on Kartik 2 on Laxmi Pooja. The premier show was held on Monday at Kumari Theatre in Kathmandu. In the premier show the main actors of the movie Rekha Thapa, Aryan Sigdel, Rajan Ishan, director Sudip Bhupal Singh, producer Ramesh MK Poudel were present. Actress Rekha was with her mother Saraswati Thapa.
Rekha Thapa has announced that her upcoming movie ‘Rudra Priya’ will release at the theatre and a TV station on the same day – on Kartik 2. In an announcement program held on October 9, 2017 Rekha Thapa told made the announcement. Rekha told, “I have viewers not only in the cities but also remote places in Nepal. There are no film halls in remote areas. For the viewers who don’t have film theatres near their homes, I have asked the viewers to watch the movie in TV.” She had also asked the viewers who live in places near theatres to go to the theatre to watch it.
‘Rudra Priya’ is not the first movie that is planning to release in TV and in theatre simultaneously. In Fulpati, ‘Mero Paisa Khoi’ was also released in Dish Home TV. But, the organization of theatre owners have protested the decision of the film producers to release them in TV at the same time as the film theatres.

After the TV station Dish Home purchase the TV rights of new movies to release on the same day as the release in theatre, the theatre owners have started to worry. They have made a decision not to let the producers release their movies in TVs. In a meeting held by the Nepal Chalchitra Sangh a decision was made to stop film producers to release the movies in TV.
After 8 years, actress Rekha Thapa and Aryan Sigdel have teamed up to be featured together in upcoming movie ‘Rudra Priya’. The movie director by Sudeep Bhupal Singh is produced by Ramesh MK Poudel as an executive producer. Rekha Thapa’s mother Saraswoti Thapa is named the producer of the movie.
Like all her previous movies, the upcoming movie is also told to be female-oriented movie. It features love, romance, and action. Before the trailer, a song of the movie ‘Chirbir Chirbir Chachari …’ was released. The song featuring the voice of the muisc of Rajan Ishan was liked by the viewers.
The first look poster of upcoming Rekha Thapa movie, ‘Rudrapriya’ was released recently. In all the posters of the movie, half portion of actress Rekha Thapa is hidden by the hem of her Saree.
The poster of the movie made under Rekha Films banner is different from the posters of previous Rekha Films banner movies. The colour and the presentation style is quite different. There is a possibility that the different looks is becasue of the director, Sudip Bhupal Singh and his concept.
In one of the posters, Rekha Thapa is holding the hand of Aryan Sigdel. Half portion of Rekha’s face is hidden. In another poster Rekha and Aryan are facing different directions. Rekha’s has clinched fist and a determined look. Only half portion of Rekha’s face is visible in this poster too.
