Salman Khan and Princess Shruti scandal of 1992, the film shot in Nepal was never released

Salman Khan had visited Nepal in 1992 for the shooting of his movie ‘Bulund’. The shooting of the movie however got halted after the completion of half of the movie. The exact reason of it being incomplete is not known but, there are a couple of incidents that are worth mentioning about Salman’s first Nepal visit.

  • Salman fell in love with the actress of the moive
  • Salman was allegedly beaten by some local guys over an incident involving late princess Shruti.

Salman Khan Nepal event re-scheduled, will Biplav let it happen this time?

Bollywood star Salman Khan’s tour, Da-Bangg The Tour, was re-scheduled from March 10 amidst protest of a Maoist group – the Biplav- Maoist faction. At that time, the group had threatened the concert organizers. They had accused the organizers of promoting Indian artists instead of Nepali artists. Now, it is not clear how their accusation became nullified. But, the event is re-scheduled for May 26, 2018.

Recently Salman Khan was arrested in India for the crime he committed some 20 years ago. After living in the jail for two days, he was released in bail on Saturday.

According to the letter from Indian organizer, JA Events LLP, the event will be held on May 26, 2018. The artists who will participate in the event include Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, Prabhudeva, Daisy Shah, Meet Bros, Manish Paul and dancers.

Salman Khan’s Controversial concert Da-Bangg the Tour Nepal re-scheduled

The controversial tour of Salman Khan, Da-Bangg has been re-scheduled from March 10 to some time in April. That was caused by protest from a Maoist group – the Biplav- Maoist faction. The group had threatened the concert organizers of promoting Indian artists instead of promoting Nepali artists.

According to the organizer, ODC Entertainment, the tour was canceled because of a ‘special reason’. In the statement in Facebook, the organization has told that they have already spent Rs. 100 million for the event to cost an estimated sum of Rs. 150,000,000. Salman Khan is reportedly paid Rs. 50 million in advance for the concert. The date however is yet to be finalized for the concert.

The organizers have told that those who had bought the tickets to the event, will be able to use it for the show in the new date. In the meantime, ticket sell is continuing.

When Priyanka and Swastima refused to dance with Salman Khan …

The organizers of the Da-bangg Tour Nepal 2018 were stressed out when popular actresses like Priyanka Karki, Swastima Khadka and ‘Thamel Bazaar ‘ dancer Alisha Rai refused to dance in Salman Khan’s concert. The organizers have convinced Sushma Karki and Mala Limbu to dance in the stage in the program. In addition to the actresses two singers including Rajesh Payal Rai have agreed to sing in the program.

Why did Priyanka, Swastima and Alisha refused?

When you look at a broader picture, sharing stage with Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, is a huge honour. Nepali film industry is a very tiny industry when compared to the Indian film industry. Salman is one of the top actors in Bollywood. So, it sure was a huge opportunity. But, Nepali actresses have taken a bold step to refuse the honour because of the way they were approached.
