UPDATE: Film Development Board of Nepal has released a press statement detailing the full program (attached at the end of the post). According to the letter, the body will arrive at 1 PM and it will be kept at Pragya Bhawan till 5:30 PM before taking it to Arya Ghat.

The body of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha is arriving in Kathmandu at 2 PM on August 11, 2014. The government is planning a honor ceremony and a procession from the airport to Pragya Bhawan, Kamaladi. He will be kept there for three hours before taking to Arya Ghat, Pashupati for the cremation at around 5 PM. The prime minister Sushil Koirala is also scheduled to offer the last good bye to Shree.
In another report, Shree Krishna had reportedly told Sweta and his elder brother Min Krishna not to take his dead body back to Nepal. He didn’t want to give pain to his 82-years-old mother and his fans by showing his dead body. But, his family and friends have decided to bring him home so that his fans and family can say the last good bye.
Shree Krishna was born on Poush 24, 2024 BS (January 8, 1968) in Ghumthang VDC of Sindupalanchok and died on Shrawan 24, 2071 BS (August 9, 2014) in Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, India at the age of 46.
The procession route:
- Airport – Sinamangal – Tin Kune – Naya Baneshowr – Maitighar – Singha Durbar – Kamaladi (Pragya Pratisthan)
- 3 hours at Pragya Pratisthan
- Kamaladi – Kamal Pokhari – Gyaneshowr – Rato Pul -Gaushala – Arya Ghaat.
