Nepali movie ‘Chhadke’ was awarded an ‘A’ certificate – not suitable for audience younger than 16-years. After the evaluation of the movie, the Censor Board had censored some of the dialogues and awarded the certificate because of vulgar words in the movie.
The film makers however aren’t happy by the decision of the Censor Board. They had expected at least a ‘PG’ certificate – a rating that allows children to watch the movie with parents.
‘Chhadke’ is produced by Narendra Maharjana and Madhav Wagle is released in the banners of Princess Movies and Rash Tandav. The movie is written and directed by Nigam Shrestha and features Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, Namrata Shrestha, Arpan Thapa and Robin Tamang in main roles. The director, Nigam had previously worked as the assistant director of ‘Loot‘ and he has repeated many of the cast of ‘Loot’ in the movie.
As announced earlier, ‘Chhadke’ is scheduled to release on this Friday, February 22.
