Friday Release – Fateko Jutta and Dhanwan

Two new Nepali movies has released in theatre on Friday, November 3, 2017. One is an awaited movie featuring well known actors, ‘Fateko Jutta’ and another is never-heard-of film, ‘Dhanwan’. In addition to new movies, the last week’s release, ‘Aishwarya’ is also running strong in theatre.

About ‘Fateko Jutta’

The movie is considered one of the most awaited movies of the year because of the star cast and a successful song. The trailer and the song titled ‘I am sorry..’ were well received by the audience. The movie produced by the producer of ‘Chapali Height’ sequels, Arjun Kumar, is directed by Nikesh Khadka. The movie features Saugat Malla, Priyanka Karki, Kemshwor Chaurasiya, Anoj Pandey etc. in main role. Actor Dayahang Rai is featured in a cameo role. Daya’s role was kept a secret by the film makers. They released a poster featuring Dayahang in a Goddess’ role.

Fateko Jutta suspense in first look poster, too mild for anybody to care

The first look poster of upcoming movie ‘Fateko Jutta’ indicates that the movie is a suspense thriller. The movie dierected by Nikesh Khadka features Saugat Malla, Priyanka Karki, Kameshowr Chaurasiya and Buddhi Tamang in main roles. The dark comedy movie was initially scheduled to release on Bhadra 23 but, the release date was delayed to Kartik 17 (November 3, 2017).

Produced by the ‘Chapali Height’ franchise producer, Arjun Kumar, the movie is made under the banner Arjun Kumar Films in association with Highlights Nepal and Popcorn Pictures.

Fateko Jutta Poster

In the first look poster, a person is shown standing with his hand on the hip. There is no indication on who the person is because the upper portion of the photo is cropped. Wearing torn shoes and a dhoti, there are empty bottles lying around on the floor. There is a jute sack with something inside it. It looks like the person is closely guarding the jute bag.

Although the poster has been successful in creating a little bit suspense, the design however can’t be considered attractive. The level of suspense is also very mild as it doesn’t raise the curiosity level about either who the guy might be or, what might be in the jute bag. While looking at the poster, one doesn’t care much about the identity of the person of the the content in the bag because there is no addition information about them.

Friday Release – Zindagi Rocks and My Promise

Two new Nepali movies are releasing on the Friday, January 2, 2015 – ‘Zindagi Rocks’ and ‘My Promise’. Both movies are targeted to the new generation youths.

Zindagi Rocks

A movie made on the story of a group of youths in a holiday trip and their adventure is ‘Zindagi Rocks’. The movie directed by Nikesh Khadka is a love story movie dealing with friendship, relationships with comedy. The movie features Somraj Tuladhar, Akesha Bista and SonamPakhrin in lead roles.
