The Nepali movie ‘Trinetra’ is a presentation of Bhagawati Films Production. The movie featuring Sweta Tiwari is made on the story of the director Manoj Narayan. Ramesh Budhathoki is a guest artist in the movie. Usha Poudel is the item girl featured in an item dance. The child artists are Amrit Krishna Bista and Rojan Phuyal. Music composed by Manoj Raj Bhandari, choreography by Basanta Shrestha and Bhuwan Shrestha, cinematographer is Ram Shankar Pradhan, editing by Banish Shah and Bipin, script / dialogue by Shivam Adhikari.

Lack of responsibility in Nepali actresses – Sumina Ghimire, Jharana Thapa and Rekha Thapa

In a few of the recent incidents it is seen that, Nepali actresses are the most irresponsible people in the film industry. Ethics and responsibilities are tied with their professionalism. Let’s analyze some of the recent incidents involving Nepali actresses:

Sumina Ghimire threat

The most recent incident, actress Sumina Ghimire threatened a journalist in a very unprofessional way. She could have sent the same message more effectively by stating it in a diplomatic manner. After the release of the audio of her communication with the journalist, Sumina has shown how low she can stoop. It won’t be easy for Sumina to regain her popularity and respect in the film community.

Actress Jharana Thapa is one of the most successful actresses in the industry. In a latest photo released in her Facebook profile Jharana is seen enjoying Hukkah (Shisha) and blowing smoke in a restaurant in Kathmandu. Smoking is a personal choice but, advertising it by publicizing the photo in public is considered unprofessional. Public usually consider celebrities as their role models and some blindly copy everything their favorite celebrities do.

The actress who had done all she could to get the FDB head post and the one who swiped the post from her were seen together in Shivaratri, sharing the same joint. Photos showing the Film Development Board head, Dharmendra Kumar Marbaita and actress Rekha Thapa wearing similar scarfs and having fun smoking marijuana filled cigarette was published in newspapers and online magazines.

Artists reached to an agreement with the govt.

The government has agreed to the 8-points demands of the protesting artists. In a meeting held a the ministry with the secretary and Dharmendra Marbaita (Pappu) the two parties had reached to the agreement.

The government has given word to comply with the 8-points demands of the protesting artists. In return, the protesting artists will allow Pappu to let him work in FDB.

The hunger strike is going to end today after signing the agreement.

The government has selected Dharmendra Kumar Marbaita, popularly known as ‘Pappu’, to head the government body to look after Nepali movies, Film Development Board (FDB). Rekha Thapa was considered one of the contestant to the post before she headed for the USA on January 23.
