Friday release – Mero Valentine

The only Nepali movie released on Friday, August 1, 2014 is Nisha Adhikari‘s movie ‘Mero Valentine’. The movie produced by Sushil Shrestha, the movie is made on the story of love and friendship. It is a romantic story of friendship, betrayal, and sex.

The Suraj Subba ‘Nalbo’ directed movie features Baboo Bogati, Swatantra Pratap Shah, Sushmita Dhakal and Nisha in leading roles. The movie features the music of Sugam Pokharel and Swopnil Sharma.

Karishma Manandhar daughter, Kabita debuts in a music video, Bhaigo

The daughter of well known actress in Nepali film industry, Karishma Manandhar, has debuted in the entertainment industry in a music video. The song titled ‘Bhaigo’ by Saroj Dutta features the 19-years-old star-child, Kabita Manandhar with Sakar Thapa. Directed by Miss ANA 2012, Sushma Bogati, the music is composed by well known musician and singer Sugam Pokharel.

Sanchita Luitel and Priyanka Karki to dance in a cultural program in Malaysia

While other artists are participating in NEFTA Film Awards in Malaysia, actors including Jiwan Luitel, Jogindar Sharma, actress Priyanka Karki, Sanchita Luitel and singers Sugam Pokharel and Muna Thapa Magar are conducting a cultural program in a separate event. The Ncell sponsored event is organized to promote the Ncell SIM being offered to Nepali living in the country.

This is probably the first time actress Sanchita Luitel has participated after she gave birth to a son and a daughter. Sanchita has gained a lot of weight after childbirth and is working hard to slim down.

Bryan Adams concert in Nepal – security nightmare and high ticket price

Next month, a Canadian rock star, Bryan Adams, is having his concert in Kathmandu. The concert is mainly targeted to promote the Nepal Tourism Year, 2011. Everyone, especially the youth, is waiting for February 19, the concert day. On that day, Bryan Adams will perform for two hours at Dasrath Stadium in Kathmandu. Adams is known for his husky, soulful voice and is popular for hits like ‘Everything I do; I do it for you’, ’18 till I Die’, and ‘Have Your Ever Really Loved a Woman’ among others.

Concert Background

The Bryan Adams concert is being organized by JPR Events and is supported by ODC Network. The organizers have told that Adams’ agent Roi Lamb was here to evaluate the venue for the event, the hotel where the singer will stay, and the security situation.
