The girl band Dalshabet’s latest video ‘Hey Mr. Joker’ was banned in televisions across South Korea. The song starts as – “Hey Mr Joker, why are you shaking me up….”
The innocent sounding lyrics sounds quite different in the ears of the Korean audience.
In Korea, the word “joker” is written “조커,” and is pronounced “Joh-kuh.”
The word “joh” in Korean is a man’s penis. That is not all, “kuh” means ‘big’ in Korean.
Now, when the word together is no longer as innocent as it sounds. When the girls sing the lyrics “Joker, I want it, I am out of breath, baby good night,” it has a whole new meaning to the Korean audience.
With concerns of sexual references in its lyrics of the song, KBS has banned the song in Korea.
On the Nepali New Year program held in UAE, two hot models were the main attraction – Jyoti Magar and Riya Shrestha. Both Jyoti and Riya are known for scanty dress and vulgar dances. Although Jyoti Magar is a professional singer, she is better known as a vulgar dancer than a singer.
In the program, they keep up with their reputation and showed off the curves of their bodies. The body show was more effective than the artistic aspect of their performance.
Jyoti Magar was invited by Lil Fang Ghale Samaj, UAE in the progream titled Naya Barsha Sangitik Dhamaka 2074. Riya Shrestha was invited by Kabhre Samaj UAE. Because of the popularity of the singer/dancer, both the programs were houseful. Although these types of programs are houseful, the presence of guests in social work programs are very minimum.
One of my friends in Twitter suggested me to make a video about the Nepali actresses who smoke and drink in real life. I think, everybody drinks and drinking doesn’t usually interface with the person other that the person who drinks. But, smoking is a different thing. Smokers cause non-smokers passive smoking. They can be a nuisance at times. So, I prepared the following video:
Singer Jyoti Magar is well known for her hot performance. In Pokhara, Jungle Festival, Jyoti performed the same songs and similar style as she used to do in her pervious performances. It is surprising that the viewers find it equally exciting and interesting. Watch a video report:
