I thought, it can only happen in Nepali movies, – a low grade trick to copy the idea from other movies’ posters to design their posters. But, I am proved wrong!
Big banner Bollywood movie Murder 2 did the same – not in one but two of its posters. The sequel to the 2004 superhit film Murder, Murder 2 is told to be a Bollywood erotic thriller film.
New Nepali movie Batch No. 16 was supposed to be released on March 4 but was postponed for a week. On28th February a special screening of the movie was done for the security personals, journalists and film personalities.
On the latest news of the change in date of release, the director of the movie, Pitamber Pandey said, ‘We sincerely apologize to the audience for not having being able to release the film on time.’

Nepali movie "Angalo yo Mayako" features the third Indian Idol, Prashant Tamang, in the lead. Prashant’s another movie ‘Gorkha Paltan’ is going to release soon in Kathmandu and other parts of Nepal.
Angalo yo Mayako is produced by Kishor Dungmali Rai, directed by Vinod Sereng. The movie features model cum actress Harshika Shrestra opposite to Prashant.
Star Cast: Manisha Koirala, Rajesh Hamal, Nikhil Upreti, Anu Shah, Rejina Upreti, Shanker Acharya, Madhav Acharya, Gajit Bista etc.
Nepali movie Kohi Mero, featuring Jharana Bajracharya, Sanchita Luitel, and Arayan Sigdel among others is in its final stage of production. The audio of the movie, directed by Alok Newang, was released recently in a program held in Kathmandu.

A movie produced and acted by Rekha Thapa, “Hifajat“, is releasing soon. One of the posters featuring Rekha resembles very much with the poster of a 2007 Hollywood movie, Resident Evil: Extention.
Nagariknews says that there are only seven differences in the two posters. I can see that, apart from the face and some minor variations in dress there is nothing much difference between the two posters. Oh yes, the “Las Vegas†has transformed itself to “Kathmanduâ€!
