I have prepared an experimental video abut a discussion in Twitter about Nepali movies. This is the first in the series – a very dull and completely uninteresting topic. Although, the topic wasn’t interesting at all, the response among Twitter friends was very good. So, I prepared a 3 minutes long video about the discussion.

About ‘Khurpa’

A presentation of Mata Pathibhara Films Nepali movie ‘Khurpa’ features Sabin Shrestha and Sushma Karki. The movie features the cinematography of Kumar Bakhati, action of Shankar Maharjan, editing of Prabin Dhakal and choreography of Gobind Rai. The music and the lyrics are prepared by Niraj Nepal. Graphics, VFX and animation prepared by Samir Miyan. The director, Kishore Subba has also written the script of the movie. The movie ‘Khurpa’ was released on February 27, 2016. The movie is produced by Hasta Libang in association with Biraj Angdenbe, Bishal Thebe, and Padam Chongbang.

Friday Release – Khurpa

This week on Friday – February 27, 2016 new Nepali movie ‘Khurpa’ was released in theater. Another movie scheduled to release on the same day, ‘Champion’ was delayed because of the problem with the Censor Board.

The movie released under Mata Pathibhara Films banner, ‘Khurpa’ was released in 65 different theaters all over Nepal. The movie made on the investment of Hasta Liwang is made on the story, script and direction of Kishor Subba. The movie features Sabin Shrestha, Puspa Limbu, Roshan Shrestha, Sushma Adhikari, Yubaraj Lama, Hasta Liwang in main roles. The movie also features a dog in an interesting role.
