I have prepared an experimental video abut a discussion in Twitter about Nepali movies. This is the first in the series – a very dull and completely uninteresting topic. Although, the topic wasn’t interesting at all, the response among Twitter friends was very good. So, I prepared a 3 minutes long video about the discussion.

Nepali movie ‘Avatar’ is a presentation of Balkrishna Tuladhar for Padhma Pictures is a revenge love story. Simant is the new actor in the movie. The child artist in the movie is Master Ashish. Actors Deepak Chhetri and Sudhanshu Joshi are featured in special guest appearance. The chief assistant director is Nilhari Kafle, editing by Narendra Khadka, action by Rajendra Khadgi, cinematography by Javed Shah. Choreographers are Basanta Jung Rayamajhi and Kamal Rai. Music by Shakti Ballav, script by the director Prakash Sayami.

Nepali movie ‘Ranikhola’ is a presentation of Adventure Films by Rupraj Rai. The movie is sub-titled ‘A Himalayan Love Saga’. Actors Marshal Rathour and Sujita Ghimire are new faces in the movie. Child artist in the movie is Sudesh Pradhan. Bhuwan Chand and Shreeom Shrestha are the guest artists in the movie. Special assistance by Bharat Rai.

Prakash Sayami, comeback in movie direction after a decade

After 11 years of absence from the Nepali movie industry, director Prakash Sayami is planning to make a comeback with a new movie ‘Dastoor’. ‘Hatiyar’ was the last movie Sayami had directed a decade ago.

The movie is going to be produced by actor Simant Udash and his brother Bhim Udash. The movie is going to be made on the story of sports persons.
