Timi Sanga, Trailer Review of Nepali movie

The trailer of the debut movie of actor Shishir JB Rana, as a director, has been released. The main attraction of the movie are Samragyee RL Shah and Najir Hussien. A new entry in the Nepali film industry, Aakash Shrestha, is also a promising actor. Akash Shrestha had debuted in Nepali movie industry in ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’. Sunil BK is a new introduction in the movie.

Trailer analysis

The trailer shows three characters played by Samragyee RL Shah, Aakash Shrestha and Nazir Hussien in Poon Hill. One of the popular destination to watch sunrise and sunset, Poon Hill is a 3,210 m hill station located in Myagdi District of northern-central Nepal. The nearby village Ghorepani is at 17 kilometres from the district capital of Beni. The place located in the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) is a popular touristic destination.

The trailer starts with the location map of Poon Hill, where “three strangers” meet. First, Samragyee is shown walking, then Aakash is shown playing with a couple of kids, and Nazir Hussain is shown smiling. The characters start “One Journey” – they are shown walking along a snow filled area towards “One Destination”. A village is shown beside a mountain range. Two characters are shown walking towards a view tower at a hill station with a beautiful snow-covered mountain peaks on the background. “Love” between Aakash and Samragyee, and also between Najir and Samragyee.

Sushmita KC TV program producer threat, Ma Ta Timrai Hoon controversy (Update)

This is video report update on the post I made a while ago. Watch the following video for the details of the case. The threat might be directed to Prakash Subedi as he is the producer of the TV program. (I have also added the video of the program in question – 35th episode of Rajatpat, at the end of this post.)

In a Facebook post, actress and the producer or recent release movie, Sushmta KC has threatened a filmy-program in TV, Rajatpat. She had expressed her dissatisfaction about the report about her movie ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hun’ aired in the program. In the report aired in the TV show, her debut production movie was a failure and it didn’t do good business.

In response, Sushmita had turned very aggressive towards the Kantipur TV program. Sushmita had registered Anmol Creation banner, a name after her son Anmol KC, to produce the movie. Although a star actor himself, Anmol wasn’t featured in the movie. The movie had featured new actors with Sushmita herself. The TV report stated that the movie was a flop. But, Sushmita claims that it had done satisfactory business. Attached below is a screeshot of the post by Sushmita.

Friday Release – Ma Ta Timrai Hoon

The debut movie of actress Sushmita KC as a producer, ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’ is the sole release this week on theatre. After divorcing Bhuwan KC Sushmita KC has registered a film production company named Anmol Creations. The first movie made in the banner named after the hit actor Anmol KC has released in theatre on July 22, 2016.

Although made under the banner named after Anmol KC, the movie doesn’t feature the actor himself. It features Aakash Shrestha, Jyotsna Yogi, Sushmita KC, Jiwan Bhattarai, Susan Khadka, Anupam Shrestha, Sushil Kafle etc. In a press event held recently, Anmol told that he wasn’t considered while writing the story of the movie. He told, Aakash Shrestha fits more to the character than himself. Aakash and Jyotsna are debuting in the film industry through this movie.  Continue reading

Anmol KC explains why he is not featured in Ma Ta Timrai Hoon

A press meet was organized in Kathmandu to inform about this week’s released ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’, a movie by actress Sushmita KC under the banner of her son, Anmol KC. Although Anmol KC is named the producer of the movie, his is not features as an actor in the movie. In the program, Anmol KC explained why he is not featured in the movie.

Anmol told that the story was written without considering him as the actor. That was the reason he was not featured in the movie. In addition to that, Anmol told that the company Anmol Creations’ goal is to introduce new actors in the Nepali film industry.

Anmol KC birthday, Gajalu first look and Ma Ta Timrai Hoon release date announced

The first look poster of the fourth movie of Anmol KC, ‘Gajalu’ was released on his 22nd birthday, on March 29, 2016. On the same day, the release date of the movie produced by his mother under Anmol KC Films, was also announced. The movie titled ‘Ma Timrai Hoon’ will be released on July 22, 2016.

Nepali Movie ‘Gajalu’

The fourth movie of Anmol KC as the leading actor, ‘Gajalu’ was announced last year. Directed by the director of two of his earlier movies – ‘Hostel’ and ‘Jerryy’. ‘Gajalu’ is one of the most awaited movies of this year. The release date of the movie was initially fixed for May 6. Now, the producers have told that there might be a change in the date.

Anmol KC to produce his mother Sushmita KC comeback movie Ma Ta Timrai Hoon

A new movie was announced on November 8, ‘Ma Ta Timrai Hoon’ in an even held at Thapathali. The movie marks the comeback of Sushmita KC after 5-years of absence from the Nepali movie industry. The movie is also the first movie to be produced by Anmol KC. Although the movie is made on the story of the relationship between mother and son, Anmol won’t be featured in the movie. He will only be the producer.

Talking in the event, Anmol told, “The movie is the story of today’s youth and it features the relationship between a mother and her son.”

Sushmita KC had stopped appearing in movies after divorcing Bhuwan KC. She had also insisted on using her maiden name Sushmita Bomjom instead of KC. As Bhuwan KC debuted as a director in his upcoming movie ‘Dreams’, there were reports of Sushmita to direct the movie. She however didn’t want to take risk and has assigned Shree Ram Mahat. The director of small screen telefilms, Mahat is also debuting as the director of big screen movies.
