About ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’
The successful director of the the past, Tusli Ghimire had told that the movie would make Rs. 120 million in box office collection. But, that didn’t prove to be true. Viewers comment in summary – The story is great, the movie is made great. Some actors are not that good in acting but, in over all the movie is very good. Despite of positive reviews from viewers, the movie however failed to impress the other viewers. The film was released last year (in 2017).
After a long time, Tulsi Ghimire’s another movie has released in theatre in Nepal, titled ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’. One of the most successful directors of the Nepali film industry, Tulsi Ghimire’s last few movies weren’t as successful as his reputation. The movie named after his previous superhit movie ‘Darpan Chhaya’ – the new movie will determine in Tulsi is still relevant in the new-age Nepali movie industry.

The movie ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’ is written by Tulsi Ghimire. The music of the songs in the movie are composed by Ranjit Gajamer and Chandan Lomjel. With Puspal Khadka, Sahara Karki and Shraddha Prasai the movie also features actors like BS Rana and Saroj Khanal. The movie is made in a triangular love story between two girls and a guy. It is a teenager love story. The cinematographer of the movie is Rameshowr Karki, editing by Prakash Baraili and Bharati Ghimire. The movie is produced jointly by Sabu Gadal and Rabi Karki. Three new actors are debuting in the sequel of the hit movie ‘Darpan Chhaya’ named ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’. The movie doesn’t have the original star cast and the director Tulsi Ghimire also says that the two movies aren’t linked with each other. The movie ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’ is going to release on Falgun 16, 2073 BS (March 10, 2017).

The trailer of ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’ has been recently released. The sequel of a superhit – record breaking movie ‘Darpan Chhaya’, doesn’t feature any original cast. The leading actors Dilip Rayamajhi and Uttam Pradhan couldn’t make it to the sequel. So, the movie features new artists.

A sequel of the hit movie ‘Darpan Chhaya’ was announced a while ago. At the time of the announcement, the original duo – Dilip Rayamajhi and Uttam Pradhan was supposed to repeat again. But, after the news that Dilip Rayamajhi has obtained the US Green Card and is planning to head to the USA soon, there is a confusion if Dilip will be able to star in the movie.
The original ‘Darpan Chhaya’ had made a new record in terms of collection and popularity. Will the sequel re-create the history, only time will tell.
The most awaited and hoped-for Nepali movie, Miss U, is released today in theatres all over Nepal. The movie features a story of three best friends, played by Namrata Shrestha, Dillip Raymajhi and Barun Rana. The movie tries to prove the saying that, a boy and a girl can’t be best friend forever. Friends of opposite sex, at some point, can fall in love and either their friendship gets scattered or, becomes weaker or, they might at best be happy couple.
Story:
‘Miss U‘ is the story of three best friends Sanjh (Barun Rana) , Sakshyam (Dillip Raymajhi) and Jasmine (Namrata Shrestha). Their friendship probably started in some foreign college they went together. They have a desire to stay best friends forever. Sanjh falls in love with Jasmine from the beginning but, couldn’t express his feelings towards her. On an incident in a pub, Jasmine came to know about his feelings towards her and accepts his love towards her. In one occasion when Sanjh was in Nepal to meet his family in Dashain, Sanjh and Sakshyam got drunk and had a physical relationship. The Dashain celebration incident is the turning point in the story of the three best friends. Revealing what happens after that would spoil the fun of watching the movie.
