A presentation of Kisan Pokharel for Rodi Films banner, Nepali movie ‘Aago’ was a controversial movie. The government wasn’t happy by the movie so, it had seized the photo-negative of movie. The movie was converted into digital format. ‘Aago’ became super hit movie of its time. To cash the popularity and success of the movie it’s sequel movie ‘Aago 2’ was also made and was released in January 2015. But, the sequel wasn’t that successful in winning the hearts of the viewers.
The movie directed by Shiva Regmi was written by Suraj Subba Nalbo and produced by OB Films. In addition to script, Suraj had also written the dialogue of the movie. The story of the movie is written by the producer Binod Sherchan. The movie features Bhuwan KC with actress Tripti Nadkar. Other well known actresses include Niruta Singh and Mithila Sharma. Action star Nikhil Upreti and Rekha Thapa are also the main attraction of the movie. Biren Shrestha, Dinesh Sharma and Sunil Dutta Pandey are also well known actors featured in the movie.

Nepali movie features some of the top actors of Nepali movie industry like Rajesh Hamal, Niruta Singh and Ramesh Upreti. The script and dialogue of the movie is written by Suraj Subba ‘Nalbo’ and produced by Manoj Kumar Shrestha. The director, Deepak Shrestha, is also featured as a guest artist in the movie.
The trailer of ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’ has been recently released. The sequel of a superhit – record breaking movie ‘Darpan Chhaya’, doesn’t feature any original cast. The leading actors Dilip Rayamajhi and Uttam Pradhan couldn’t make it to the sequel. So, the movie features new artists.

Nepali movie ‘Lav Kush’ is a presentation of Ram Krishna Bajgai for Jaya Chamunda Mai banner.
The story of the movie is written by Sunita Baral, (Bajgain), screenplay and Dailouge by Bikash Acharya. Music is composed by Laxman Shesh. Choreography by Raju Shah, action by Rajendra Khadgi, editing by Rajani Pant, background score by Samrat Thapa and cinematography by Bhim Rana.
After Rekha Thapa, Priyanka Karki, Namrata Shrestha, Niruta Singh, Chhulthim Gurung etc., another Nepali actress has also tried singing. This time, the ‘Prem Geet’ actress, Pooja Sharma has become a new singer. The actress has given voice to a song titled ‘Prem Katha’, a duet song with a well known singer, Anil Singh.

Tulsi Ghimire has announced ‘Darpan Chhaya 2’ featuring new actors and a different story. In an event held in June 2016, Ghimire told about his attempt to bring together the original cast of the movie without success.

The movie featuring ex-Miss Nepal Jharana Bajracharya also features Niruta Singh and Rajesh Hamal. The movie features the script and dialogue of Surendra Nakarmi, Purushottam Pradhan was assistant cameraperson in the film.
