The movie was released in 2017 (read release news of ‘Gangster Blues’). The movie directed by the director of superhit movies like ‘Hostel’ and ‘Jerryy’ failed miserably in Box Office. This movie introduced Aashirman DS Joshi in the Nepali film industry. The movie is made on the urban crime gang and the social aspect of the Nepali society. The youth story of the crime and love story film features the actress of ‘Jerryy’, Anna Sharma in leading role. Actress Rojisha Shahi and Aashirman debute in the film. The director of ‘Kabaddi’, Ram Babu Gurung is also featured as an actor in the movie. The movie featuring some of the well known actors like Anna, Samyam Puri and the director, there was a high expectation of success, that didn’t happen.

About ‘Ghampani’
The debut movie of well known film critic, Dipendra Lama, features Keki Adhikari and Dayahang Rai in leading role. The movie is about an intercast marriage and the problems associated with the marriage. Dayahang is featured as a Tamang guy and Keki is featured as a Bahun girl who fell for each other and got married. The love story and the popularity of the songs had been credited for the success of the movie. The movie turned out to be the one and the only successful film of actress Keki Adhikari.

A 2016 release movie, directed by the director of ‘Maun’ and ‘Hostel Returns’, ‘Gaatho’ is an art movie by But-Wall Entertainment. The movie features Najir Hussain in leading role and a new actress, Namrata Shrestha, opposite to Najir. The director of photography is Narendra Mainali, editor is Nimesh Shrestha. The movie is made on the screenplay and dialogue of Suraj Bhusal and Pratik Gurung. The director has also written the story. The music and the lyrics of the movie are prepared by Anupam Sharma. Anupam has also given voice to the songs. Background socre by Jason Kunwar. The movie was released in September of 2016.
