Singer Komal Oli to debut in 'Dabdaba' as an actress

Popular singer Komal Oli was once a popular journalist. The unmarried singer now wants to establish herself in yet another media, acting.

Komal Oli will be featured in her debut movie named ‘Dabdaba’ to be released in Poush 13, 2069 (December 28, 2012).

The movie is directed by MS Agraj and made under Colours Movie banner. Apart from Komal Oli, the movie will also feature actors like Bishal Pokhrel, Aarzoo Adhikari, Barsh Babu Shahi, Subash Chandra Karki and Ganesh Upreti in main roles. ‘Dabdaba’ is produced by
Ratna Prasad Shrestha.

The movie was previously told to feature Komal in ‘Hot and Spicy’ role.  We need to wait a few months to see how hot she has managed to be.

Komal Oli to act in a ‘Hot and Spicy’ role in Dubdaba

A journalist / news reader Komal Oli has been a successful singer. Now, after two decades of singing, the unmarried singer is going to venture in a new field, acting.

In a press meet organized in Kathmandu, the producers of upcoming movie "Dabdaba" have told that Komal Oli will be featured in a special role. The movie to be written and directed by M.S. Agraj will also feature a song by Komal. The director told that Komal will be featured in a "Hot and Spicy" role.

When a promo of her upcoming album was banned from Nepal Television, Komal Oli called a press conference to express her dissatisfaction.

   

While some think the words in song calling Lord Shiva ‘Badmas‘ is not good for religious sentiments. Other think Komal herself is creating issue out of nothing to promote her album.

There have been a series of banning in Nepal recently. It looks like, various government agencies are depressed by the failure to form a government two after the resignation of he current PM and are venting their dissatisfaction in the form of banning everything they don’t like personally.

This time, a promo of an upcoming album of Komal Oli was banned from Nepal Television. Komal Oli once used to be the news anchor at the TV. The promo was being broadcasted in the television for a couple of weeks. It was suddenly halted on Sunday.

In the controversial song, calls Lord Shiva a Badmas.
