About ‘Star’

This movie is a presentation of Sangam Vision by Mahendra Budhathoki. The movie debuts Niraj Baral in the leading role opposite to hot actress Sumina . Sanskar Budhathoki is the child artist in the movie. Guest artists in the movie include Saurab Karki, Sital KC, Shobhit Basnet, Sanu Tamrakar, Krishna Chapagain, and Laxman Subedi.

The mvoie features the choreography of Kabiraj Gahatraj, Shiva BK and Suraj Chand. The executive producer of the movie is a well known journalist, Laxman Subedi. The script and story of the movie is written by the director Mahendra Budhathoki himself.

After being featured in hot scenes in a lot of movies and giving controversial interviews, the actress went through tough time because of the controversies. Actress Sumina finally quit the Nepali movie industry soon after getting married in March of 2015.

About ‘Chhoro’


The word Chhoro in Nepali is a son. The 1996 release movie about a son is produced by Khusbu Films and is presented by Ganesh Upreti. The story of the movie is written by the director, Ramesh Budhathoki. The chief Assistant director is Nilhari Kafle and assistant director is Mahendra Budhathoki. The chief assistant cinematographers are Deepak Bajracharya and Kumar Bakhati. Assistant choreographer is Pradip Shrestha and assistant editor is Tara Thapa. Assistant action director is Umesh Newa, assistant cinematographers are Bishnu Lamichhane and Madhavraj Bhandari. Playback singers are Uditnarayan Jha, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Rahul Supriyo, Deepa Jha, Kabita Krishnamurti, and Sagarika. Arts by Gopal Bhutani, action by Rajendra Khadgi, choreography by Raju Shah and Kamal Rai. The cinematographers are Murari Thakura nd Ram Shankar Pradhan and the editor is Banish Shah. The script and the dialogue of the movie are written by Brajesh Khanal.

Star Cast of ‘Chhora’
The movie features Ganesh Upreti in leading role. Well known actresses Bipana and Melina are the lead actresses. Bipana Thapa is currently living in India and has left the film industry after marrying an Indian national. Melina Manandhar is also not active in the film industry after marriage. Shankar Thapalitya is featured as a guest artist.

The sequel will feature actress Samragyee RL Shah and a new actor. The shooting has already completed and the post production works of the movie is going on.

This original version of the movie ‘A Mero Hajur’ was produced under Sunil Kumar Thapa and Jharana Motion Picture. This is the second movie of Jharana Thapa’s production was written and directed by late director Shiva Regmi.

This Friday, on November 6, 2015 new Nepali movie ‘Nagarik’. The movie directed by Bimal Poudel features Bishow Basnet, Anu Shah, Puspa Acharya, Sarita Giri, Ganesh Upreti, Ramesh Budhathoki etc. The cinematographer of the movie is Raju Thapa and the movie is produced by Ayushree Rajbhandari and Sarbhani Rajya Dulal. The movie features the music of Laxman Shesh, lyrics of Puspa Acharya.

The movie made on political theme, ‘Nagarik’ is being released in 40 theaters all over Nepal. The movie features the incidents from the political change of 2007 BS to the current condition. The director, Bimal Poudel, says that the movie fits in the current political condition and he expects the viewers to like it.
