For the first time in the history of Nepali fashion industry, some actresses and models are going to catwalk in United Arab Emeritus (UAE). That is after the organization of Nepali music award and film award there. The fashion show is being organized by Cheparo.com. In addition to the models from Nepal, local models will also participate in the fashion show.
The participants of the February 10 fashion show from Nepal include, ‘Loafer’ debut and the actress of superhit movie ‘Pardeshi’, Rajani KC. Actress Poojana Pradhan, ‘Kafal Pakyo’ actress Barsha Raut and Miss Nepal 2014, Subin Limbu. The record breaking Nepali movie ‘Chhakka Panja’ is setting another new record. The movie is being screened in 7 different theatres in 6 cities in the United Arab Emeritus (UAE) starting November 10. The movie is being screened in the UAE cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
The movie is being screened in association with the local distributor of the movie. A Nepali company Concept Vision Film Production and Distributors had started the distribution of Nepali movies in UAE in October 14, 2016. The first Nepali movie released in UAE was ‘Bir Bikram’.
The Nepali movies in UAE are targeted to the foreign worker Nepali people living in the UAE. In addition to UAE, Nepali movies are expected to be released in other Arab countries including Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Process of releasing Nepali movies in Thailand has also started.

Comedy actress Deepa Shree Niraulaâ€™s directoral debut movie ‘Chhakka Panja’ has already celebrated 51 days and is still running in many theatres in Nepal. Nepali artists participated in a cultural program held in UAE for free to help earthquake victims. In the program held in Abu Dhabi artists including Rajesh Hamal, Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, singler Tilak Bam Malla, Indra GC, Samjhana Lamichane, Prajita Gelal and Aastha Raut had given their presentation to the audience. The DID Little Master winner Teriya Magar had also danced in the stage.
More than 3,000 viewers were present in the program held in a school on Friday, July 12. The school had also provided the venue free to help the noble cause of the program. The money collected from the program will be transferred to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
