‘Rakshya’  the second presentation of Pawan Basnet. The movie created controversy because of bed scenes offered by Poojana and the poster design of the movie. The actress and the director had misunderstanding prior to the release of the movie. Later, Poojana had told that she is free to offer whatever role she prefers and she also told that she can go as far as removing all the clothes in movies.

The action movie ‘Timro Kassam’ was released on August 9, 2013 in the theaters all over Nepal. The movie features Subash Meche with actress Poojana Pradhan. Other noted actors include Dinesh DC and Sunil Thapa. The movie produced by Deepak Shrestha is made under AD Entertainment banner. The director of the film Dineshraj Sharma has also written the script of the film. The movie is subtitled ‘True love never dies’ and is categorized as a romantic thriller. The film features the choreography of Deepak Shrestha, action of Dev Maharjan, and music by Bikash Chaudhary.

About ‘Chocoate’

A presentation of Poozana Films, ‘Chocolate’ is a movie made on a story based on child psychology. The director Nirma Sharma debuted as a director in the movie (report). He was well known as Gaida after his comedy role in the popular TV serial ‘Tito Satya’. The producer, Poojana, in an interview had admitted that the movie had flopped (watch the video report attached at the end). The movie was released in December of 2015.

The movie was premiered in Hong Kong before it was released in Nepal (read report). For the promotion of the movie the actress had asked almost every artists to send their best wishes and told their fans to watch the movie.

The action by Babu Balami, editing by Anil Gautam and music by Laxman Shesh. The story, script and dialogue are also written by LR Bibek.

The movie is an important movie for the actor – Jiwan Luitel because, it was his first movie.

Barsha Raut, Poojana, Rajani, Subin Limbu to catwalk in first ever Nepali fashion show in UAE

For the first time in the history of Nepali fashion industry, some actresses and models are going to catwalk in United Arab Emeritus (UAE). That is after the organization of Nepali music award and film award there. The fashion show is being organized by Cheparo.com. In addition to the models from Nepal, local models will also participate in the fashion show.

The participants of the February 10 fashion show from Nepal include, ‘Loafer’ debut and the actress of superhit movie ‘Pardeshi’, Rajani KC. Actress Poojana Pradhan, ‘Kafal Pakyo’ actress Barsha Raut and Miss Nepal 2014, Subin Limbu. The fashion show titled ‘Fashion Fusion’ will be held in Four Points By Sheratona Hotel.The choregorapher of the fashion show is Sabitri Khatri.

Dashain 2016 – Dashain Tika photos (Update with videos)

UPDATE: Dashain has finished today. I collected 100s of photos of celebrities. But, posting them in the page would not be that much interesting to the most of the site visitors. So, I collected the photos of 40+ Nepali actress celebrating Dashain this year and prepared a video (I deleted the video – nobody watched it).

I also prepared a video about the fist Dashain of two Miss Nepal sons. In addition to the sons of Jharana Bajracharya and Malvika Subba, the daughter of actress Richa Ghimire also celebrated her Dashain for the first time in her life.

Chocolate flopped, says the producer Poojana Pradhan

The producer, writer and the actress of ‘Chocolate’, Poojana Pradhan has expressed her frustration in Facebook after the movie failed to attract enough viewers. The debut movie of Poojana as a producer was made on the story of street children was released in theatre on Friday, December 4. Poojana had been supporting orphan children in her home and was also involved in Jayasangat movement. She had written the story based on her experience with the children and had high hopes from the movie.

In a Facebook post Poojana wrote, “‘Chocolate’ flopped because you didn’t watch it.” She had claimed that she has written a very good story and she had good intentions from the movies, but she didn’t get the support from the viewers. She has also told that the  status is the last status she will update in Facebook.

‘Chocolate’ is the debut movie the director Nirmal Sharma. Known as ‘Gaida’ in popular comedy serial ‘Tito Satya’, Nirmal has also directed another upcoming movie ‘Bracelet’. In a Facebook post, Nirmal has written, “Hold on, god knows what he is doing!”

The debut movie of actress Poojana Pradhan, as a producer, ‘Chocolate’ is releasing on theater on December 4, 2015. The movie made on street children is also the debut movie of comedy actor Nirmal Sharma, as a director. The movie featuring Poojana in the leading role was shown in various countries before being released in Nepal. Poojana’s was also planning to show the movie in the USA but the plan failed when she failed to get the US visa.

There are 6 songs in the attached audio jukebox. One song, ‘Hadh Bhanda Badhi’ has three versions – duet, male and female versions. The list of songs and the singers are as follows:

Keki Adhikari flies to the USA

Actress Keki Adhikari, director Suresh Darpan Pokharel have gone to he USA to participate in the Festival of Globe (FOG) or San Francisco Global Movie Fest. Actresses Poozana Pradhan (Poojana Pradhan) and Nandita KC are also going to participate in the festival. Poozana is currently in Hong Kong and Nandita is already in the USA.

Chocolate premiered in Hong Kong

A red-carpet premier of actress Poojana Pradhan‘s production movie, ‘Chocolate’ was conducted in Hong Kong. Poojana and director Nirmal Sharma are currently in Hong Kong for the premier.

The movie made on the story of street-children is written and produced by Poojana Pradhan. Poojana had been raising  orphan children and has first-hand knowledge on the condition of street children.
