About ‘Kina Kina’

The adult themed movie by Dahal Films, ‘Kina Kina’ made news when the director announced for an actress to pose nude in the movie. Actress Arunima Lama agreed to do the role. The movie also features the love story of Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar. The movie produced by B Banjara features the screenplay of the director Ukesh Dahal and music of Mahesh Khadka. The movie was released on March 8, 2013.

Ukesh had previously produced and directed the first ‘A’ rated Nepali movie – ‘Palpalma‘. Later, the movie was released in Hindi by name ‘Jaane Kyun’. I also talked about the kiss competition in the movie and the censor problem until it was awarded an ‘A’ rating.

The geekiest tattoo on Nepali artists might be that of actress Arunima Lama. Arunima Lama was featured as a nude model in the movie ‘Kina Kina’. The movie features six top actors of Nepali film industry – Rajesh Hamal, Biraj Bhatt, Ramit Dhungana, Jharana Thapa, Rejina Upreti, and Jenny Kunwar.

Kina Kina to release as Na Jaane Kyun in Hindi

The Nepali movie featuring Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar, ‘Kina Kina’ is going to release in Hindi in a different name. The movie renamed ‘Na Jaane Kyun’. The Ukesh Dahal’s movie is made on sex theme in which, Rajesh is featured as a nude painter.

Ukesh debuted in Nepali movie industry as an adult film director through ‘Palpalma‘. The movie was successful and he advertised for an actress to pose for nude model in his next project. Arunima Lama agreed to do the role of the model. The movie went through a problem to get censor clearance but, later got through with an ‘A’ rating.

‘Palpalma‘ is the presentation of Dahal Movies P. Ltd. The movie made a record of being the first movie of an adult theme. Although it wasn’t liked by many, the movie was successful earning profit. Details on ‘Palpalma’ was also posted before in xnepali. After the success of the movie Ukesh Dahal also made another movie on adult theme – ‘Kina Kina’.

The movie ‘Kina Kina’ started with an advertisement – an advertisement for an actress who is willing to shed her clothes in a scene. It was more about the promotion of the movie rather than an advertisement in itself. Then, the director Ukesh Dahal announced the ‘hat trick in adult movies’ in Nepali movie industry. And now, kiss is being used as the tool of promotion.

‘Kina Kina’ censor problem

Because of excessive sex scenes and vulgar dialogues, the censor board decided not the pass director Ukesh Dahal’s upcoming movie ‘Kina Kina’. The censor board members watched the movie on Wednesday January 9 but couldn’t reach to a decision. All they told was that the movie didn’t pass the censor without being specific about objectionable scenes or dialogues.

Palpalma screened in Hong Kong

Thanks to the bed scenes, Nepali movie Palpalma was dragged into controversy during its shooting. The movie was widely publicized with photos and posters of such scenes featuring Ramit Dhungana and Sujata Sitaula.

The Film Board however didn’t cut any scenes and categorized the movies not suitable for everybody.

The movie revolves around the lives of the wives of â€˜Lahure’, who go to foreign lands to work. Lahure wives and their search of male partners is the main story of the movie. The main characters in the movie is the wife of a foreign worker and her partner.

The movie was shown in two locations in Hong Kong recently. The director of the movie Ukesh Dahal told that the Nepali community in Hong Kong liked the movie. Palpalma is the first movie of Ukesh as a director.
