5 Tattoo-on-breast Nepali actress, Karishma, Sushma, Suvekshya, Sashi Khadka

Tattoos are painful to start. May be the pain and the possibility of expressing oneself through the art are the main reasons people ink their bodies. These days, tattoo are quite popular among the youths and middle-aged people. A lot of Nepali artists, including actresses are getting new tattoos on them. The latest in the group of actresses are Samragyee RL Shah, Sweta Khadka, Pooja Sharma, Poojana Pradhan, Sagun Shahi, Namrata Sapkota and others. Actress Priyanka Karki inked herself during her college days in USA.

Some people cringe when they see tattoos on sensitive parts of their bodies and other prefer to show off their artistic nature by inking in such body parts. One of the most common such part in female body is their breast. I have prepared a video report on five actresses who have tattoos on their breast.

New Tattoo of Samragyee RL Shah and Aryan Sigdel in Philippines

Actress Samragyee RL Shah and actor Aryan Sigdel are currently in Philippines shooting for their upcoming movie ‘Kayara’. Samragyee reportedly was paid a whooping Rs. 10 lakh – a new high to be paid to an actress in the Nepali film industry.

While in Philippines Samragyee has got a new tattoo. First watch a video report:

The details of the movie ‘Kayara’ is not available. It seems Aryan is featured as a singer or musician. In one of the photos, Aryan has a tattoo of a guitar on his neck. They seem to be shooting in sea shore and island.

What is the meaning of Sweta Khadka tattoo?

It is not a new thing that the smile has returned in actress Sweta Khadka‘s face. The only question now is when she is going to return as an actress. Sweta had gone through a long mourning period after the death of her husband Shree Krishna Shrestha. These days she says that the smile has returned to fulfill the dreams of Shree Krishna before his death.

During the press meet of ‘Ke Ma Timro Hoina Ra’, Sweta told that she is eager to make a comeback. That means the rumours of Sweta is working in a movie script is true.

Sweta Khadka’s Tattoo

Sweta has engraved a tattoo on her right hand. The tattoo has some numbers in Roman letters. The writing enclosed between two flying birds also contain a pair of red cherries.

The writing reads:

IX-XII III-X XIII

Sweta told that the writing is a date that signifies the most important and happiest time of her life. She didn’t tell the full meaning.

True Geek Tattoo, Arunima Lama, Priyanka, Sujata Sitaula and others

At xnepali, when we talk about tattoo, it’s tattoo on the body of Nepali artists. Once we posted some tattoo photos of true geeks. Now that is the past. The geekiest tattoo on Nepali artists might be that of actress Arunima Lama. Arunima Lama was featured as a nude model in the movie ‘Kina Kina’. The movie features two tattooed actresses – Arunima and actress Karishma Manandhar (you can watch ‘Kina Kina’ here).

Tattoo, Suvekshya Thapa draws Nepali flag on top of her heart

After Karishma Manandhar and Sushma Karki, actress Suvekchya Thapa has also added a tattoo on her chest. While Karishma has a tattoo of a rose on the top of her left breast, Sushma has an image of the sun, Suvekshya has chosen two Nepali flag to show her love for the country. (we had also compared Sushma and Karishma’s tattoos)

In addition to two crossed Nepali flags, she has also written ‘I love Nepal’ all in capital.

It is to be noted, in Suvekshya’s latest film ‘Bindaas 3’ she has replaced the actress with tattoo on breast, Sushma Karki. The tattoo of Sushma had also created controversy during the release of ‘Bindaas 2’. In a question if the tottoo was the requirement of the story of the movie, Suvekshya told that it was not. She told, “I had always wanted to have a tattoo.” ‘Bindaas 3’ is releasing on October 3.

Censor Board eyes Shushma Karki’s tattoo on breast

Time again Nepal’s Censor Board is known for acting on the baseless intuition of it’s members. As many of their decision are not based on facts, a protest or judicial decision help them to change their decision. In a latest case, the Board has decided that the tattoo of sun on actress Sushma Karki‘s breast is against patriotic norms.

The decision was made while censoring a movie featuring Sushma in an item dance in her upcoming movie ‘Rajniti’. Although the movie was awarded a PG certificate, the Board has asked the film makers to remove the portions of the movie featuring the actress’ tattoo.

It was not the first time Sushma has shown the tattoo in movies. The posters of her movie ‘Bindaas’ had her featuring the tattoo. But, the Censor Board hadn’t objected on the tattoo at that time.

Tattoo is a new and rapidly growing urban culture in Nepal. Youths are particularly attracted towards the permanent body art. Nepali actresses are using tattoo to enhance their beauty.

Our friends at Nepaliactress.com had collected five Nepali actresses who have made tattoos on their bodies. The most beautiful tattoos among them are that of Karishma Manandhar and Priyanka Karki. While other actresses like to showoff their tattoos, new actress Ashishma Nakarmi and Mausami Malla prefer to hide them.

It is easy to follow what others do as long as talent is not involved. Karishma Manandhar‘s beauty is envied by every other actresses in Nepali movie industry and it is not much surprising if an aspiring actress follows her steps.

When Karishma Manandhar attended the first anniversary party of Nagariknews, she became the center of attraction. The actress in her 40s looked younger and more attractive in the green dress.

It was not only the face and the dress that was attractive about her that day. The tattoo of Nepal’s national flower ‘gurash’ (Red Rhododendron) on her breast was the center of attraction of everybody.

The tattoo looks more like a painting on her breast rather than a permanent tattoo. It looks like, after living in the US for some time, she has brought the western trends and fashion with her. Showing panties while wearing mini-skirt (photo below) seems another of the western fashion trend (Thanks god, she didn’t dare the Brittney Spears, or Paris Hilton, or an Indian-Samita Setty style!).
