Aggressive promotion of ‘6 Ekan 6’ has paid off – causing houseful occupancy of the movie on it’s release day. The success however will depend on the mouth publicity. The initial response of the viewers are generally positive.
One of the producers, Deepa Shree Niraula expressed her happiness on the success of the movie. The turnover of the viewers to theater is told to be like that of ‘Kali‘. Dinesh DC‘s direction, ‘6 Ekan 6’ features six comedy actors – Deepak Raj Giri, Sitaram kattel (Dhurmus), Kedar Ghimire (Magne Budha), Shiva Hari Poudel (Mukhan Hannu Jasto), Jitu Nepal (Mundre), Sandeep Chhetri and actress Neeta Dhungana in leading roles.

After a couple of weeks without any new releases, Nepali film makers are releasing four new movies on January 10. At least, three out of the four movies are considered big names in the Nepali movie industry.
The movie ‘Biteka Pal’ by noted director of successful movies like ‘Bato Muniko Phool’ and ‘Sayaad’, Suraj Subba ‘Nalbo’ is known to make good movies. Although his last movie ‘Facebook’ didn’t do well, the current release has created a buzz before the release. In addition to a good director, the movie also features new and talented actors like Keki Adhikari and Baboo Bogati in leading roles. Keki Adhikari was highly appreciated by the audience during the premier show of the movie on the last week of 2013. The songs of the movie are also liked by the public.
The release date of ‘November Rain’ has been delayed from the previously announced Valentine Day release. The movie marks the debut of actor Aryan Sigdel as a producer and features Aryan, Namrata Shrestha and Chhulthim Gurung in lead roles. The movie is directed by Dinesh Raut.
