The movie is the first film produced under the banner of Shankhadevi Cine Arts, produced jointly by Sudan KC and Sanat Kumar Joshi. Shailesh Acharya and Naresh Poudel are the guest artists in the movie. The child artists are Rojina Ghale and Ayushma Shrestha. Sudan KC and Jharana Rajbhandari are the new face in the movie. Actor Sunil Thapa is featured in a special role. The actress Jharana says that she was 17 years old at the time of production of the movie. Well known director, Shiva Regmi had written the script of the movie.

The sequel will feature actress Samragyee RL Shah and a new actor. The shooting has already completed and the post production works of the movie is going on.

Shree Krishna biography unveiled on his death anniversary

The biography of late actor Shree Krishna Shrestha was unveiled in a program to mark the first anniversary of his death on Shrawan 25 in Kathmandu. In the program held in Russian Cultural Center, minister, FDB personnel and various film artists were present to pay homage to the late actor.

In the event Sweta Khadka remembered Shree Krishna and the hardship she went through after his death. She also told that she wants to return to acting in near future.

The movie produced by Govinda Shahi and a presentation of Deepak Kumar Shahi, ‘Parai’ was the last movie of the late director Shiva Regmi. (list of Shiva Regmi’s films) Director Regmi died on December of 2013, a month before the movie was released in theater in January 2014.

The story of the movie is written by Shivam Adhikari, music by Basanta Sapkota. The lyrics of the film are composed by Shib Regmi,Basanta Sapakota,Dayaram Pande,Naresh BHatarai and Nabaraj Lamsal. The singers are Bhishan Mukarung, Dipak Limbu, Swarup Raj Aacharya, Rajina Rimal, Rajesh Payal Rai, and Mandavi Tripathi.

The movie produced by Kajal Films is one more movie produced by popular movie actor Bhuwann KC. The actor added an extra ‘n’ in his name on the suggestion of an astrologer. We posted Bhuwan’s interview at the time of the release of the movie (in February of 2012).

Although our review of ‘Sathi Ma Timro’ was positive in nature, the movie wasn’t that successful in theater and changing names wasn’t as helpful as expected.

This week two new movies ‘Nai Nabhannu La 2’ and ‘Manle Manlai Chhunchha’ are released in theaters all over Nepal.

‘Manle Manlai Chhunchha’ is the last movie of the late director Shiva Regmi. The movie made under Miracle Media banner features Biren Shrestha, Garima Pant, Suman Singh, Mithila Sharma, Sirjana Basnet etc. in main roles. The movie features the cinematography of Shambu Sapkota, editing of Banish Shah, and music of Basanta Sapkota.
